The Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA) operates the Canadian Avalanche
Centre (CACentre) in interior British Columbia, at the heart of avalanche
country. The CACentre provides various services to its professional members, as
well as the public. Building upon the financial base of many individual and
corporate donors, the Canadian Avalanche Association, in partnership with the
principal sponsors seen here, provides various Public Safety Services to the
public free of charge. The analysis of accident trends has proven that these
services have helped to minimize avalanche accidents in Canada. As you use the
